Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired authoritative Word of God and the divine final authority for all Christian faith and life. 2 Tim 4:16-17

We believe that there is one God and Creator of all things, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Rev 1:8

We believe that Jesus Christ is true man and true God, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.  John 1:1-18

We believe that He is to be worshiped, praised and adored (along with the Father and Holy Spirit) not only for what He has done, but for who He is – the Son of God and God the Son. Rev. 5:11-14

We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection from the dead provide the only basis for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit, and therefore, children of God by grace through faith alone. Rom 10:9-10

We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.  Titus 3:4-8

We believe that God does not want to send anyone to Hell, and takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but desires all to come to repentance. Ezekiel 18:23; 2 Pet. 3:9

We believe that salvation is a free gift by God’s grace, but this gift, although free, is not cheap – for it cost God the life of His own beloved Son. John 3:16; Eph. 2:8; I John 1:9

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and His fruit, the giving of spiritual gifts and by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. John 14:16-31

We believe that the Lord Jesus will come again, and this “Blessed Hope” has a vital bearing on the personal life, conduct, and service of the believer.  1 Thess. 5:1-11

We believe that at the end of time there will be a bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. Eph. 4:7-16
